We’re excited to announce that for the second year in a row, our good buddy Louis Cahill of Gink and Gasoline will be hosting our 2015 bonefish school at Andros South, and the spots are filling up fast!
Bonefishing often requires a different set of skills than other avenues of fly fishing, and it can be a bit overwhelming to get started. Therefore, we like to run week long bonefish schools at Andros South for those interested in learning the finer points of flats fishing.
This year, Louis will be covering all the basics, including (but not limited to) the following topics:
- Saltwater Knots
- Basics of Saltwater Lines and Leaders
- Casting in the Wind
- Making Good Presentations
- Mastering the Strip Set
- Spotting Bonefish
- Fly Tying
- Fly Selection
- Working With Your Guide
- Fishing on Your Own
This year’s school will run from November 7th – 14th (6 days fishing, 7 nights lodging), and all experience levels are welcome.
For those interested, drop us a line for more information. Hope to see you there!
