About a year ago, we shared a step by step video of Alaska West alum, Trevor Covich, tying one of his go-to sculpin patterns, along with the handy camera work of another Deneki alum, Ben Paull. The video was a big hit, and many of you expressed how much you enjoyed it!
Therefore, we were excited when we stumbled upon this video from the boys at OPST of Trevor tying an Intruder. Intruders are kind of a big deal in our neck of the woods, and this is one of the best videos we’ve come across highlighting the many techniques involved in their construction. If you like to tie flies for salmon and steelhead, you owe it to yourself to check out this video.
