Most guests at Alaska West know Jordan Sly as the super friendly guy who hauls freight and fuel around the river. That’s his job at the lodge, but it turns out Jordan is one of the most knowledgeable anglers you’ll meet.
Jordan grew up fly fishing, and his passion for angling drove him to get really smart on the stuff – he’s got a Masters of Science in Fisheries and Freshwater Ecology. The next time you see him in camp, it might not be such a bad idea to pick his brain a bit…
Jordan put together a great series of tips for us, and we present the first to you today. More to come!
