At Andros South we fish the West Side of Andros Island a lot.
Unlike in some other locations further North, getting to the West Side is pretty easy for us. We keep our boats right at the mouth of Little Creek, which – not coincidentally – runs right through to the West Side. It’s a very reasonable run – 30 – 40 minutes most days – through very protected inland waters. There’s no long open-water ordeal here!
We love fishing the West Side because it’s incredibly vast, and oh yeah, it’s home to very big bonefish. But rather than pound you with yet another big bonefish hero shot, today we give you a nice picture of a nice day in the West at low tide.
