Bonefish Haiku Contest – Win Abel Nippers

Bonefish Head by Louis Cahill Photography
Hey buddy! Yeah it’s me – let’s hear your entry! Photo: Louis Cahill

We haven’t run a contest in a while.  We have some extra Abel nippers floating around.  It’s bonefishing season.  We love haiku.

Hey, let’s run a bonefish haiku contest and send the winner a free set of Abel nippers!

Contest Rules

  1. Submit a haiku about bonefish or bonefishing via a comment on this blog post.  What’s a haiku?  See below.
  2. On Saturday, November 17th we’ll pick our favorite entry and send its author a pair of the badd-est ass nippers we know – the ones from Abel.

Bonefish Haiku

A haiku is a 3-line poem, with lines consisting of 5 syllables, 7 syllables and 5 syllables.  It doesn’t have to rhyme.  Here’s an example.

Mini torpedo

I’m so glad you ate my fly

Damn, you can swim fast

Got it?  Have fun with it – click right here to submit your entry.
