We try hard to support good causes. Since our resources are fairly limited, we’ve made the decision to focus our support and donations on organizations related to fisheries conservation.
Casting for Recovery is such a great cause, though, that we bent our rules and donated a trip for 2 to Andros South to the Casting for Recovery online holiday auction. You know about Casting for Recovery, right? They use fly fishing and casting as a way to help women overcome the challenges of breast cancer. It’s a pretty great organization and you can learn more about their work right here.
They’re running their auction right now – it started yesterday and runs through the 11th of this month. Some other items being auctioned besides the Andros South trip are:
- Other guided trips and fishing packages in the Northeast, Montana, Utah, Ohio and more.
- Gear: Rods, reels, lanyards, etc.
- Loads of flies and fly tying materials
- Books, videos, artwork, jewelry etc.
