All throughout our season at Alaska West, the variety in our fishery is amazing. We target eight species of fish and catch a couple others incidentally, and we use a whole bunch of different techniques in the process.
August is no exception. Besides the great trout fishing, the numbers-oriented silver salmon fishery is a very popular draw. We could post a new picture every day of silver doubles caught at Alaska West – it’s very numbers-oriented.
But the variety in August is great too, and we think that silver/rainbow doubles and rainbow/dolly doubles are super cool!
