It’s ‘duh-NEE-kee’.

Just to be really clear from the start, we’re not too worked up about how you say the name of our company.  We picked an unusual name (it’s Athabaskan Indian for ‘moose’, by the way, and the name of your editor’s first dog), and we don’t expect anyone to know how to say it.

That being the case, lots of people talk to us in person and say “Oh, it’s duh-NEE-kee?  Why didn’t you say so?  I thought it was DEH-nuh-kee (or DEH-hun-KAY or duh-NOH-kay or…).”

You’re welcome to say it however you’d like to say it.  If you care, we say duh-NEE-kee.

Thanks for reading our blog!
